Ngoc Le
Ngoc Le submitted her documentary “A Perfect Match” about Janet Liang, a UCLA student suffering from leukemia, and her journey to find a perfect bone marrow match. She was inspired by reading media accounts of Janet Liang’s story. The film was also inspired by Le’s own recent struggle when she was diagnosed with a life-long autoimmune disorder that would eventually require a bone marrow transplant.
